The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of the project, ensuring costs are effectively managed and contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you will assist in maintaining project profitability while helping to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Managing project costs and commercial reporting.
- Assisting with procurement activities and subcontractor administration.
- Preparing valuations, variations and cost forecasts.
- Monitoring project expenditure against budgets.
- Supporting contract administration and compliance requirements.
- Reviewing subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and documentation.
- Working collaboratively with project stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives.
- Supporting the successful delivery of project milestones.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure or engineering projects.
- Good understanding of commercial processes and cost control.
- Experience administering subcontract accounts.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with standard forms of contract would be beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively within a project team environment.
- Eligible to obtain the required project security clearance.
