Are you an experienced Plumbing Contracts Manager ready to take full ownership of projects from start to finish?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, reputable domestic plumbing contractor specialising in high-end private residential projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to play a key role in delivering bespoke plumbing installations across private homes.
The Role
This is an office-based position with regular site visits. You will be responsible for managing domestic plumbing contracts from initial enquiry through to completion.
You will not be required to carry out physical plumbing work – an experienced team of engineers will deliver the installations. Your focus will be on coordination, commercial oversight, and client management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site surveys within private domestic properties
- Preparing quotations, pricing and costings
- Ordering materials and managing suppliers
- Managing projects from start to finish
- Overseeing engineers and scheduling works
- Attending client meetings and maintaining strong relationships
- Managing multiple live jobs simultaneously
- Tendering for larger residential projects
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong background in domestic plumbing
- Experience managing contracts or projects within residential settings
- Confident pricing and quoting works
- Comfortable dealing directly with private clients
- Organised, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence
This role would suit someone currently working as a Plumbing Supervisor, Senior Engineer, or Contracts Manager who wants more autonomy and ownership without being on the tools day-to-day.
