My client Specialize in delivering high-quality HVAC solutions across a range of commercial and industrial projects around Bristol and surrounding areas, they are looking for a driven Mechanical Estimator to become a key part of their team. Someone who wants to grow with the company and play a vital role in shaping the future of their estimating function.
This is more than just a numbers role, they are looking for a right-hand person to their leadership team, helping build their internal estimating capabilities and drive procurement processes and more.
Day to day duties
- Leading mechanical estimates for projects ranging from £20,000 to £2 million
- Supporting the full tendering process – from site visits to split/office-based estimating work
- Working closely with their team to implement a new estimating system
- Managing procurement and supplier relationships to secure best value
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and competitive bids
- Helping shape and build their estimating department as they grow
- Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical projects, including HVAC and plumbing systems
- Analyzing project specifications, drawings
- Site visits, manage databases of costs and suppliers
You will need
- Strong mechanical/HVAC background
- Proven experience in estimating mechanical projects of varying scales
- Comfortable pricing jobs independently and taking ownership of your work
- A proactive mindset with a desire to grow with the business

- Competitive Salary between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum + package
