Career-Bridge Recruitment are working with a Bristol based leading company who are looking for a Commerical Gas Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be delivering both planned & reactive maintenance within commercial premises throughout Bristol and surrounding areas.
You will be working on some exciting contracts, schools, hotels and more in and around the Bristol and surrounding areas.
Duties
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) and attend to reactive repair tasks across a varied client base
- Provide occasional support with minor plumbing activities when needed – familiarity with hot and cold water systems is beneficial.
- Liaise with the Help Desk team to manage job requests, quotations, and any subsequent works.
- Assist installation teams as required, including plant commissioning and offering advice on commercial gas regulations. Knowledge of gas purging, strength testing, and tightness testing would be useful, though full technical support will be provided.
- Complete all necessary compliance documentation, such as gas certificates, via electronic systems.
- Uphold exceptional workmanship and safety standards within a customer-focused setting.
- Contribute to preparing quotes for remedial work and create thorough reports for follow-up tasks.
- Responsible for a variety of minor installations and maintenance across multiple sites
- Complete relevant compliance paperwork and report diligently
- Work in a customer focused environment where quality and service is paramount
- Working across projects, planned & reactive maintenance teams
You will need
- Domestic and Commercial gas qualifications (Commercial: CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A –) (Domestic CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
- Any manufacturer training desirable, Renewable energy desirable
- Previous experience in a dynamic and reactive maintenance role
- Full driving license
